Word Choice Analysis Directions: Answer the following questions on the back of your annotated poem. Turn your assignment into the bin when you are finished. What is the significance of Dickinson using a fly in this poem as opposed to a different insect? How would the poem change if it were different? Were there words you did not know the meaning of? Which were they? Find their definition. (You may use your phone). Find ONE image Dickinson creates within her poem. What is it? Sketch out that image on your paper.
