GP Practices will receive: 1 Dermatoscope an Ipod and connection case as supplemental equipment training delivered by the devices manufacturer ongoing training & support to accommodate staffing changes & in maintaining image quality training on how to upload images to EMIS from the device 10 year service plan for equipment including replacement of faulty devices

Dermatoscopic images essential for lesions One setting essential – Usually non-polarised, but sometimes cross-polarised Dermatoscopic images optional for rashes Pigment boost used as an additional setting to improve visualisation of pigmented structures in either NPD or PD Non-Polarised Contact images 6 LEDs (White) Cross-Polarised Contact and non-contact images 12 LEDs (White) Pigment Boost Additional orange LEDs

Dermatoscope DL3N – How to Guide
To turn the Dermatoscope on and off, hold done the right-had side button To turn Pigment Boost on and off press left-hand side button To switch between Polarised and Non-Polarised functions, press the right-hand side button To produce a clear image change the focus For the best images adjust the focus to position 0
