Weak Verbs Weak verbs often drop a letter
So you’ll have 2 root letters, instead of 3, to identify the verb Rarely, you might have only 1 root letter!

Weak Verbs 4 Easy Steps 1) Remove all prefixes and suffixes
2) Try a 1-נ, then a 1-י, then a 1-ה 3) Try a 2-וּ, then a 2-וֹ, then a 2-ִי 4) Try a 3-ה, then a 1-ל, then a geminate (same 2nd and 3rd root letters)
