Speakers unrelated to financial planning present little risk to our business (e.g. executive chef or life coach).
Speaker related to financial planning present confusion risk for consumers.
Their materials should be limited to educational materials within their area of expertise.
Their presentation should fall short of providing individualized advice or strategies.
Power Point Presentations, Handouts and Speaking Notes
Need to be reviewed by the advertising compliance team prior to use. Such review may include legal and/or legal tax review if content is technical or novel.
Generally speaking, these materials should utilize the third party speaker’s marks and identification material; materials should not utilize AIG’s marks or brands.

The introduction should include a short biographic introduction including their qualifications to discuss the topic they will address.
