Control (n = 4) and Abca1−B/−B (n = 5) mice were injected with HDL particles labeled with 125I-TC in the apolipoprotein and 3H-CEt in the CE moiety, respectively, and plasma clearance and tissue uptake of 125I-TC and 3H-CEt were measured.
