Introduction to:
Student Information System (SIS)
Student Information System (SIS) is developed by Punjab Education Foundation IT Department, to facilitate partner schools for collection of their student’s record in an efficient, easy and accurate way. This software provides very easy to use and interactive forms for the Partner Schools to enter their student records and helps to save the time for entering data and delivering to the PEF.

4. SIS Functionality Student Add Information
This feature helps the partner schools to add new student’s information in the software
Student Update Information
This feature enables partner schools to edit or update student information when required.
Student Delete Information
This features enables partner schools to delete Added Student record from the software
Reporting
Report are automatically generated and stored on given location

Double click on the setup icon to run software installation

Wizard will be started automatically after clicking the setup.exe

16. School Registration Screen:
Fill the Student Registration System Form
Type your School Code which is provided by PEF
Type your School Name
Type your School Address
Type your City
Type your Tehsil and District
Click Register School Button

Fill up the form with your School’s information in given fields to get your school registered

18. Login in:
Run the SIS, firstly it displays login screen with user ID and password. Enter user ID & password and log on.
Default Login = admin
Password = pef

19. SIMS Change Password: To change password (if required):
Click File from Menu bar
Click Change Password in the drop-down list

20. View Software Menu:
You can find Menu bar, Status Bar and in center four options under the heading of PEF Student Information Management System.

21. Main Menu Functions: Add New Student:
- Form will open which enables to add new Student’s record in the SIS software
Update Student Record:
Select a Student record to update in SIS software
Delete Student record:
Select a Student to delete from SIS software
View all Student List:
View record of all students entered into the SIS Software
Search Student:
Search Student on different criteria ( Name, School, Tehsil, District, etc)

22. Add Student: Add New Student Partner School can add new Students:
Fill the Add Student Form and click Add Student
Note: Fields with asterisk (*) are mandatory fields.

23. Search Student: Update Student Record
Click the searched student and update student in the Update Student Field
Click Update

24. Update Student: Change any field, you want to modify
Click Update Student Button
Update Student Dialog box will be appear, click yes (if you want to update student record)

25. Delete Student Record:
Select a student from search results and Delete it by clicking the Delete Button

26. Report File Location: File will be saved at:
C:\\Program Files\Punjab Education Foundation\PEF
Copy SIMS.mdb and save it into flash drive or write on CD

27. Data Transfer to FAS-PEF:
Member School will copy the reports in flash data storage, write it on CD, along with photo forms by hand.
