Linear Graphs – Table of Values Method – Worksheet A
In this competitive activity students compete in groups (2+) to kill alien spaceships by plotting (using any method) linear equations. Worksheets increase in difficulty and are in three sizes.

Printing To print handouts from slides -
Select the slide from the left. Then click: File > Print > ‘Print Current Slide’ To print multiple slides - Click on a section title to highlight all those slides, or press ‘Ctrl’ at the same time as selecting slides to highlight more than one. Then click: File > Print > ‘Print Selection’ To print double-sided handouts - Highlight both slides before using ‘Print Selection’. Choose ‘Print on Both Sides’ and ‘Flip on Short Edge’.

Space SHOT 3 Aliens are invading! = 1 pt = 2 pts = 3 pts = 5 pts
You need to shoot down the spaceships with laser shots. 1) Write down an equation for the shot. e.g. 𝒚=𝟐𝒙+𝟑 2) Plot the line using the gradient-intercept method or a table of values. 3) Total your score! Challenges! Highest score for a single shot. Highest total with 10 or 15 shots. Highest mean for 10 or 15 shots A shot with no score. 3
