Highlights from 2014/2015 Year End Evaluation
Number of Presentations- many questioned the need for 3 presentations on all topics. Circumstances that would require only 2 presentations will be proposed in Bylaw updates-October 2015.

Implementation Concerns
Presenters will be encouraged to present both pros and cons of policy approvals/changes. Teams will be encouraged to express implementation concerns and these should be reflected in the decision papers. AGC will receive updates from Provost Chesley on policy implementation progress in December 2015 and April 2016.

Team/Committee Membership
Team chairs were contacted over the summer and asked to send membership needs to ExecAGC. All full-time faculty were contacted on August 20th and asked to contact committee chairs about membership interests. The response has been positive with many teams welcoming new members.
7
Table Discussions Many expressed that the table discussions were beneficial citing good conversations, a good way to give feedback, and gives quiet members more opportunity to express themselves. ExecAGC will encourage teams to use table discussions to promote communication and collect information.
8
Late Feedback There were some concerns about changes to policies between the 2nd and 3rd presentation and late feedback to teams. It is hoped that increased table discussions will improve communication and ExecAGC will be more deliberate in informing the membership about upcoming votes.
9
Policy Concerns There were four concerns raised regarding the timeline to review the CLS 100 Policy, which is not scheduled for review until fall 2017. There were issues raised regarding the number of W grades that a student can earn and the time frame for students to withdraw from courses. These concerns would fall under the Academic Standing Policy (review year 2019/2020) and the W grade policy (review year 2017/2018), respectively. There were also questions raised around the General Education Policy (review year 2019/2020) and the Curriculum Model (review year 2016/2017). While these policies are scheduled for review in the future, there is the possibility of early examination if an Issue Paper is brought to and approved by the AGC membership. ExecAGC encourages you to bring Issue Papers to AGC on policies that you feel need to be considered or reviewed. The link to the Issue Paper form can be found at:
