To EXEMPLIFY is to serve as an example. Christians have a responsibility to exemplify, to the world, in the church, and in the home.

To FOLLOW JESUS:
He left a good example for others (John 13:15; 1 Peter 2:21)
If we are following His example, we will set good examples too.

3. Exemplify Christ-likeness to the World!
By good works (Matthew 5:16 ; Peter 2:12; 2 Corinthians 8:21)
By giving up worldliness (Acts 19:18-19; Romans 12:17)

4. Exemplify in the Church!
Elders – leading by example (1 Peter 5:1-3; Hebrews 13:7; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Timothy 3:1-7)
Preachers – practicing what they preach (Philippians 3:17; Corinthians 4:16; 1 Timothy 4:12-15)
Christians working together with gentleness (Philippians 4:1-5)

5. Exemplify in the Home!
A responsibility of parents and grandparents (Proverbs 20:7; Timothy 1:5)
Examples in the home are the strongest influence in a child’s life!
