2 Grape regions of Ukraine
Under existing natural zoning there are 15 wine growing zones (macrozones) and 58 natural wine growing regions (microzones) allotted in Ukraine. 6 macrozones and 12 microzones are in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, 3 and 16 in Odessa region, 2 and 10 in Kherson region, 2 and 7 in Mykolaiv region, 1 and 12 in Zakarpattya region and 1 and 6 in Zaporizhia region.

3 Ukrainian Corporation for Viticulture and Wine Production Industry «Ukrvinprom»
Ukrainian Corporation for Viticulture and Wine Production Industry «Ukrvinprom» is association of wine production industry of Ukraine. The approximate number of operating wineries in Ukraine 105 (the number is constantly changing). Of them in Ukrvinprom – nearly 46 wineries. By volume of production in Ukrvinprom in percent is: Cognac enterprises - 94%; Wines - 70%; Sparkling and champagne - 80%. The members of the corporation are the leading enterprises of wine industry: The house of Vintage Cognacs «Tavria», Private joint stock company «Odessa Cognac Factory», Rental company «Uzhgorod Cognac Factory», «Industrial-trading company Shabo» LTD, Public joint stock company «Koblevo», «Atlantis» LTD, Join company «Aisberg» LTD, Private joint stock company «ArtWinery», Private joint stock company «Ismail winery» etc.

4 Ukrvinprom In cooperation with the International Federation of Wines and alcoholic beverages (FIVS) Corporation representatives regularly participated in the working meeting FIVS members, meetings of the Scientific and Technical Committee and in the General Assemblies of the other events. The Corporation is actively cooperating with the Committee of European wine producers (CEEV), annually taking part in the working meeting CEEV Directors, the General Assembly of the Organization meetings of the Commission. According to the invitation FIVS and the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) representatives Ukrvinprom worked as international experts from FIVS during the annual working meetings of the Committees and subcommittees and the Technical Committee OIV and participated in other activities OIV - World Congress of Wine and General Assembly.

5 Central Tasting Commission of Ukrvinprom
In 2007 established the Central Tasting Commission of the Corporation, which monitors the quality of wine production by organoleptic characteristics produced by Ukrainian wineries and imported. It`s take part experts from leading enterprises of Ukraine and representatives of central executive bodies. The results of meetings of the Commission sent to central authorities to take appropriate measures.

6 Annexation of Crimea and creating a Scientific Center "Ukrainian Wine Institute"
Due to military aggression and annexation of Crimea, Ukraine has lost one of the largest, oldest and most famous wine growing regions. About 30% of vineyard areas. In this regard Wine industry remained without scientific support, so that was created a Scientific Center "Ukrainian Wine Institute"

7 Scientific Center "Ukrainian Wine Institute"
Areas of scientific and technological activities of Science Center are: development and improvement of production technology wine and fruit production; the spread and introduction of modern technology, advanced science and technology, promotion of wine; development and implementation of national standards, guidelines, procedures and recommendations of wine, accounting reporting, auditing, quality control and ecological production; research technological properties of raw materials wine industry; carrying out systematic monitoring organoleptic and physico-chemical characteristics of domestic and foreign wine products; developing measures to adapt domestic legislation and regulatory documents for wine with international and European standards; scientific and technical conferences, workshops, tasting competitions, seminars on new technologies in wine making, improving the quality of wine production, etc. development and implementation of special measures to preserve geographic names of wine products sold in the domestic market; cooperation with the Inter-Governmental International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) and the other international organizations and academic institutions around the world including the European Community. Scientific Center "Ukrainian Wine Institute" to determine the organoleptic and physico-chemical parameters established wine production and its analytical laboratory equipment to provide research to date.
