Gentle: Fair, moderate, Titus 3:1-2

Full of mercy and good fruits: Goodwill bears good fruit, cf. 2:13

13. Who is Wise and Understanding?
The wise (and the foolish) are known by their fruit, James 3:18
Fruit of righteousness…Peace
Note: Peace is “made”, not merely wished! Matthew 5:9

14. Use Your Tongue Wisely
Faithful person knows the great power of the tongue to build up, to strengthen, to make peace and to save
Faithless person uses the tongue selfishly to tear down, causing great destruction
