2 Fig 1 The patient was admitted to the hospital with severe abdominal and back pain and clinical signs of septicemia. A computed tomography scan showed an inflammatory retroperitoneal process of the para-aortic tissue with diffuse gas inclusion. The vessel wall was inflamed and an increase in diameter of the abdominal aorta could also be noted. Journal of Vascular Surgery  , DOI: ( /j.jvs )

3 Fig 2 The patient was readmitted to the hospital due to back pain and fever. Computed tomography scan showed the correctly placed customized straight Talent endovascular stent graft (Medtronic AVE, Inc) and a new abscess formation in the retroperitoneum.
