Literary Anthology
Roles and Responsibilities of the Campus Coordinator for Literary Anthology
I, __________________________________, agree to perform the following services for the SISD Curriculum and Instructional Services Department. I understand that I will be paid upon completion of the duties described below.
Inform teachers of the different components within each genre.
Provide exemplars of published authors and other students of each genre.
Develop a schedule aligned to the YAG to help pace and ensure all genres are taught.
Collect the optimum number of quality entries. Each campus will be expected to submit two of their best entries per genre (see charts), totaling 60 for elementary schools, 36 for middle schools, and 40 for high schools.
Develop a judging system to select the top 2 entries from each genre.
Make sure each entry is typed in Verdana font, size 12 and the title is size 14. Each entry will have a cover sheet that provides a naming convention. Entries may NOT have a student’s name or school name on it anywhere.
Attend 3-5 afterschool meetings.
Attend and fully participate in the spring district judging of all entries.
Recruit 3-5 judges for the spring judging.
Attend and fully participate in the district’s acknowledgment ceremony for the winners.
Assist in creating artifacts to support a theme and design for the district acknowledgment ceremony.
Meet all deadlines.
I have read and understand all of the above duties as the campus literary anthology coordinator.
I understand that if I do not fulfill the above duties I will not receive my stipend.
