Published in an electronic “green” journal which allows repository deposit Not accessible immediately without a journal subscription - embargoes Deposit pre-publication version in a repository – “self-archiving”

Free immediate electronic access – no embargoes Authors (often institutions) usually required to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs) Hybrid Traditional Subscription and typically Gold articles in same journal

Newman is using the CREST Repository Library managing repository process – we will deposit for you but… You need to submit information and pre-publication version to us, using the intranet form

Journal articles & conference proceedings - publication has ISSN Accepted for publication after 1 April 2016 Deposit within 2 months of acceptance for publication Final peer-reviewed draft – no printer’s formatting Word version of output for us to convert to full text searchable pdf
