Shown are the spectrum of DAT serologic findings, autoimmune hemolytic classifications, antigen specificity, and medical/drug associations.10,11 Drugs most commonly implicated11-13,20 in drug-induced autoimmune hemolytic anemia are β lactam antibiotics (penicillin, ceftriaxone, cefotetan, and piperacillin), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (tolmetin, sulindac, and diclofenac), quinine, purine nucleoside analogs (fludarabine and cladribine), and platinums (cisplatin and oxaliplatin).12,13 Ronald S.
