Board the Katy: make plankton tows and bottom trawls
Students are exposed to the diversity of marine life in the area I
Depart Monday, October 13, head to State Aquarium, Sleep at UT Port Aransas, board the KATY in the morning on the 14th, return to Kealing around 6 pm

Spring Lake is a unique freshwater ecosystem
Take a glass bottom boat tour
See some of the 1,000 springs that form the headwaters of one of the most beautiful rivers in Central Texas; and catch glimpses of the inhabitants here too. 
Date will be TBA (sometime in November)

Yes…Everything in class is fair game for a grade, but everything you do in class is not always a grade.
