PROGRAMS REPORTING
3
PROGRAMS reporting National Headquarters provides year-end report forms in the annual National Program Book. Responses to the questions asked provide Headquarters with insight to the success and adoption of National Programs and initiatives.
4
PROGRAMS reporting The questions on the year-end report form change year to year. Your Department may have its own report form and ask additional questions – that’s OK! Be sure to answer the questions HQ asks, too!
5
PROGRAMS reporting When a question asks for the total number of hours, count all the hours that went into PLANNING, PREPARING, PARTICIPATING and COMPLETING the project. DO NOT include Post volunteer hours, miles or expenses in your reports.
6
DOUBLE REPORTING
7
PROGRAMS reporting Ex: Your Auxiliary spent $30 on supplies for youth to make cards for veterans. The cards were then delivered to veterans at a medical facility. The entire project took six hours. Divide the time and money spent on supplies between the two Programs: Three volunteer hours and $15 for Youth Activities. Three volunteer hours and $15 for Hospital.
8
PROGRAMS reporting Ex: Veterans Voices Writing Project – Hospital or Veterans & Family Support? If it takes place IN a medical facility or on its grounds, report the activity under Hospital. If it takes place elsewhere, report the activity under Veterans & Family Support.
