B.) Read-Aloud: Read aloud Act 1, Scene 4—pp (roles: Troy, Rose, Cory, Bono, Lyons, Gabriel and Stage Directions). Take notes on textual evidence of the characters experiencing fences (divisions/barriers) and pursuing the American Dream. How is Rose revealing her independent, feminist self? What is Troy’s depiction (portrayal) of a wife in his American Dream? How has Troy broken barriers?
