For do I now persuade men, or God?
Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Wednesday Galatians 1:6, 7 I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the Grace of Christ to another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ Verse 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Galatians 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 1:11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

Read Galatians 1:13-17 ‘In almost every church there were some members who were Jews by birth. To these converts the Jewish teachers found ready access, and through them gained a foot-hold in the churches… They declared that he (Paul) had not been a disciple of Jesus, and had received no commission from Him; yet he had presumed to teach doctrines directly opposed to those held by Peter, James, and the other apostles.’ Sketches from the Life of Paul p188

‘Paul's soul was stirred as he saw the evils that threatened speedily to destroy these churches.
He immediately wrote to the Galatians, exposing their false theories, and with great severity rebuking those who had departed from the faith.’ Ibid Friday
