A Parent Training and Information Center Collaboration
OSEP California Verification Visit Parent Survey Report – IDEA Part B An Overview of Responses A Parent Training and Information Center Collaboration Beginning on August 13, 2010, the Survey was announced a number of times through listservs, via California PTIs’ digital newsletters, at trainings and during one-to-one telephone calls. The distribution lists included individuals on the California PTIsʼ lists (approximately 20,000 addresses); California Family Empowerment Centers, Family Resource Centers, SELPAs, school districts, early intervention, professional associations, family support networks, mental health agencies, county offices of education, and many others. We distributed hard copies of the Survey during trainings, information fairs and conferences. PTI employees entered the paper copy survey responses into the Survey Monkey instrument. The Survey closed for public input on September 3, 2010. PTIs had until Wednesday, September 8, to input the hard copy responses.
