Eligible applicants include all levels of municipal government, charitable non-profits, schools and libraries.
Boroughs, Townships and Municipalities with population of 20,000 or less
Essential Service To The Local Community
Needed For The Orderly Development Of A Community
May NOT Include Private, Commercial, or Business Projects
Must Have Significant Community Support
Environmental Review Must be Completed/Acceptable

6. CF Funding Types Direct Loans Guaranteed Loans Grants
All funds are competed for – projects given priority points based on population and Median Household Income (MHI)

7. Direct Loans Loans Made to Borrowers Directly from USDA
Applicant Unable To Obtain Credit Elsewhere at Reasonable Rates & Terms
Fixed Interest Rate For Life Of Loan - Currently 4.25% (subject to change)
Up to 40 Year Term Or Useful Life of Facility
Security: Real Estate, Machinery & Equipment, General Obligation Bonds, UCC-1 Financing Statements
