Navigation is simpler and more intuitive, similar to HRDirect.
New homepage with icon "tiles" & right-hand navigation bar (navbar).
Each tile has a collection of folders and links tailored to that function.

Ability to withdraw an expense report before it is approved.
Grants and Billing (ORSP)
Newly delivered features allow us to retire some of our customizations.
Reporting
The Report Manager List tab will have a back button to return to list.
Job Aids
Job-aids will be updated for accessibility and made available on the IT and Controller’s websites prior to Go-Live.

3. Other Benefits
Upgrading Finance to v9.2 ensures continued vendor support from Oracle through December 2027.
This will be the last major upgrade UMass will need to execute for Finance. Starting with this version, updates are delivered via the PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM), which allows selective implementation of new functionality and bug fixes.
The Finance system will be current for several years while the University continues to standardize processes through the Business Process Review Program (BPR) and ultimately plans for next generation software solutions.

5. Clear Browser History & Enable Pop-ups
Before you log into PeopleSoft Finance 9.2 for the first time, make sure to clear your browser history and enable popups. For more detailed instructions, visit our website.

Clearing History Shortcuts:
MS Windows: ‘Ctrl+Shift+Del’ works for most browsers
OS X:
Safari – Preferences > Privacy > Remove all website data...

Icons for home, search, notifications, action list and the navbar are in the top right corner.
Tiles that appear on the default homepage are based on your access.

7. Managing Homepages
Homepages may be customized by adding tiles or creating additional homepages.
You can toggle between homepages using the dropdown in the middle top of the page.
The personalize homepage panel is under the Action List icon (3 vertical dots).

Create a new homepage
Open a search dialog
Choose a homepage to edit
Remove tile
Move or copy tile
Personalizing Homepages
On the left, choose the homepage you want to update or add a new homepage.
On the right, use the add tile button and open a dialog box and search for a tile.
On the tile, use the 'X' button to remove the tile and the ‘edit’ button to move or copy it.

9. Using tiles & left hand menus
Selecting a tile opens a custom left hand menu and one of the pages from the menu.
The left hand menu includes pages and folders for frequently used related functions.
The back button above the menu will take you to the last tile or homepage visited.

10. Adding Favorites
Add tiles or pages to homepages, the navbar and my favorites via the action list icon.
To add a specific page, you need to navigate to the page via the navbar, otherwise you will just add the tile.

11. The Navbar: Recent Places & My Preferences
Use the compass icon in the upper right corner to open the navbar, which includes:
Recent places – A dynamic list of the last pages you accessed.
My Preferences – Where you can manage accessibility, notifications and other settings.

12. The Navbar: My Favorites
Your favorites from Finance 9.1 should already be included.
Use the first item in the list, Edit Favorites, to remove or rename entries.
To add a favorite, go to the page, use the action list icon and select “Add to favorites.”

13. The Navbar: The Navigator
The main menu includes all functions to which you have access, grouped by folders.
The top of the menu displays the current folder along with a button on the left that takes you back one level and a button on the right that takes you back to the main menu.
