Bayesian data analysis for PTAs, recently in particular influence of timing-model fitting (van Haasteren & L. 12) Many new implementations submitted for IPTA data challenge: Cambridge, JPL, Montana state, hybrid algorithms (Milwaukee + AEI) van Haasteren 12: GW information confined to only a few (~10 per pulsar) basis functions. Accelerates Bayesian searches of stochastic Background by >1000. Apply this idea to single-source searches. Finally sort out the mess with the pulsar term. Explore intermediate (not stochastic, not single source, but in-between) algorithms New model for pulsar scintillations (Pen & L., to be submitted) Try to understand Willem’s papers on polarization Learn how to observe Yuri Levin, Monash University
