Circle of Discovery Genotyping & Gene Expression
(PCR & qPCR) Gene Transfer & Modulation Protein Expression (multi-analyte detection) Protein Quantification (western blotting) Food Safety (food pathogen testing) Biological research can be categorized into 3 fundamental areas: Cell Biology, Genomics, Proteomics. While Bio-Rad products are integral to all of these areas of research, we have focused primarily on the study of genes and proteins. There is an increasing interest, on the part of our customers, to study cells and we have now turned some of our attention to the growing area of cell analysis and recently introduced new products in this area. Customers include universities and medical schools, industrial research organizations, government agencies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology researchers, food producers and food testing laboratories.
