2 Grateful (adjective) Definition:
Feeling or showing an appreciation of kindness; thankful. Sentence: I'm very grateful to you for all your help.

3 Perseverance (NOUN) Definition:
Steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement. Sentence: It takes planning and perseverance to be successful.

4 Maintenance (NOUN) Definition:
The process of maintaining or preserving someone or something, or the state of being maintained. Sentence: Routine maintenance of the garden consists of keeping weeds under control.

5 Dismal (adjective) Definition:
Causing gloom or dejection; gloomy; dreary; cheerless;  melancholy. Sentence: The dismal weather made the late afternoon seem like evening.
