Configuration Questionnaire
BLUEcloud Mobile Configuration Questionnaire Graphics Package App Setup Quality Control Testing Go Live Configuration Questionnaire Configuration questionnaire is complete and submitted to SirsiDynix, with the information they needed from us to set up the app. Includes the RSS feeds for your events; information needed to include your eRC collections including Overdrive, Hoopla etc.; links to your websites; and logos. The next 3 steps are for SirsiDynix and Solus, the app developer they work with. We’ll be involved again in the Testing phase: At that point, we will have access to the administration interface, we can test the app, and start offering training for libraries who are interested. Something to keep in mind for ‘go live’ – it takes a few days after the app is submitted to the Apple and Android app stores for it to appear. If you are marketing your app, it would be a good idea to wait until a week or so after it is in the store to make a big push.

Article Search Usability Testing
What is Article Search? Article Search is an EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) integration with Enterprise. Results from EDS appear in Enterprise, and users can click on results and view full text articles in the EDS interface. All of your libraries have this subscription, and Robin has been working to tailor each instance to your individual libraries' subscriptions. For those of you that aren't live to your patrons yet, we'll soon be going live for everyone. We wanted to investigate: How people find these results in the catalog How they navigate to Article Search from your library websites How easily the are able to access full text articles
9
Article Search Usability Testing
Findings Recommendations It is difficult for patrons to get to Article Search from the library website EDS works best with EBSCO products Gale resources can be integrated but are more difficult to access ProQuest resources cannot be integrated into EDS Pilot projects to integrate an EDS search bar into the databases page on a library website and improve visibility in Enterprise catalogs Investigate options with RAILS for a base package for SWAN with EBSCO Work with EBSCO to improve linking to other vendor resources View the usability testing report in the Quarterly packet for more details.
