3 weeks daytime Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 6:00pm Course fee: $14,300 (may be adjusted) Commencement date: November 2019 Postgraduate Diploma in Archival Studies 12 months, 282 hours Lessons normally held in evening, Saturday daytime Application fee: $150 (Non-refundable) Course fee: $36,000 (subject to review) Commencement date: September 2019 Students with Postgraduate Certificate in Archival Studies awarded with the HKU system through HKU SPACE may apply for exemption. Right now only Postgraduate Certificate in Archival Studies got 8 credit exemption, equivalent to one module of Master of Information Studies Postgraduate Diploma in Archival Studies transition

1) Bachelor of Information Studies 2) Graduate Diploma of Information Studies 3) Master of Information Studies These are exempted courses under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance. It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognise any qualification to which these courses may lead.

Advantage : At Your Own Study Pace
BIS There are three Sessions (term) per year Bachelor of Information Studies usually take TWO 8-credit-point (cp) modules, or ONE 16 cp per Session, but You can still take ONE or THREE modules per Session according to your study pace transition

GDIS / MIS There are three Sessions (term) per year GDIS students should take SEVEN 8-credit-point modules, and TWO 4-credit-point modules; those modules are compulsory, then Students can choose to exit to get an GDIS award; or Students can continue to take FOUR 8-credit-point elective modules to complete the MIS. Usually students take ONE module per session, but You can still take TWO modules per Session according to your study pace. Advantage : At Your Own Study Pace

How many credits per module is ?
Usually 8 credits per module Practical modules cover Placement, Study Visits which are 4 credits per module and are arranged locally in Hong Kong Only Bachelor of Information Studies has a module of 16 credits transition
