CLIENT FLOW 1. Indicate the conscious and unconscious services offered to clients Are there unintentional or intentional barriers preventing clients from accessing services? Client Flow is a visual representation of how a client moves through your program. Indicate the duration of the program from the perspective of the client as well as when key milestones occur. If specific dates are associated with key activities such as enrollment, graduation/completion, volunteer recruitment, advocacy efforts, or other activities, please include them as well. This visual client flow should align with program activities and help reinforce program activities. This is helpful for funders to not just understand how you are serving clients through specific activities, but to get the whole client experience

CLIENT FLOW Put yourself in the client shoes:
What’s the goal for each client that walks through your doors? Do you have paths they follow based on their purpose for coming to you or their goals? How does each client flow through those programs? What/Where are their touchpoints? Who connects with them, staff wise? How many? What services does each client receive at each touchpoint? What information is collected at each touch point?

What is the entry point? How are clients recruited or identified for services?
Is there a hand-off to other services or even other agencies?

1. Review your Client Flow Chart (homework); are there gaps? 2. Make quick changes or edits 3. Share your Client Flow Chart with a neighbor for feedback. Preferably, work with an individual that serves a different population/different impact area for a fresh perspective. 4. Make updates and changes as necessary based on feedback. 5. Walk us all through your Client Flow Chart!

Why are Logic Models necessary?
LOGIC MODELS: PURPOSE What is a Logic Model? Visual representation of how the program transforms resources into action and action into impact Why are Logic Models necessary? Help to assess the program’s effectiveness and impact Illustrate a client’s progress through the program Developing a realistic picture of what the program can reasonably expect to accomplish over a set timeframe NISSY It is an “If – Then” sequence of changes that the program intends to set in motion through inputs, activities, and outputs. A graphic representation of your program showing the intended relationships between investments and results. Logic Models help to identify the key program components that must be tracked to assess the program’s effectiveness. Logic Models illustrate the client’s progress through the program, and developing a realistic picture of what the program can expect to accomplish. Logic Models provide the program description that guides the evaluation process Helps the audience match evaluation to the program Helps organizations to know what and when to measure
