In Bellahouston Academy, we have placed Health and Wellbeing firmly at the heart of everything we do because we believe that attending to the overall health and wellbeing of our pupils – whether physical, emotional, mental or sexual – means that our core business of teaching and learning will be made all the more effective.
We also believe that we can take this important work forward firmly within the context of Curriculum for Excellence and in partnership with parents/carers. To this end, we held a Health and Wellbeing evening for parents/carers in order to give them the opportunity to view a number of displays which show-cased various types of curricular materials and resources and to allow them to ask of staff any questions which they might have had.
