3. Oligodendrocytes Form myelin in the brain & spinal cord
This myelin serves as insulation around the axon that speeds up impulses through the nervous system.

Small
Scattered throughout the CNS
Support neurons & phagocytize bacterial debris and cellular debris

5. Ependyma
form the inner lining of the central canal(extends down through the spinal cord)
Form inner linings that enclose ventricles in the brain
Form a porous layer through which substances diffuse freely between the interstitial fluid of the brain tissues & the cerebrospinal fluid within the ventricles of the brain

6. Neuroglial Cells in the PNS
Schwann Cells- form myelin that wrap around the axons of peripheral neurons
