Bronfenbrenner’s exosystem is the setting in which there is a link between the context where in the person does not have any active role, and the context where in is actively participating.
Bronfenbrenner’s chronosystem includes the transitions and shifts in one's lifespan. This may also involve the socio-historical contexts that may influence a person.
Erickson's generativity vs. stagnation: During middle adulthood (ages 40 to 65 yrs), we establish our careers, settle down within a relationship, begin our own families and develop a sense of being a part of the bigger picture.

3. Bronfenbrenner Exosystem: Ten-year development plan such as retirement will affect my parents indirectly. Continued support to my children and parents.
Bronfenbrenner Chronosystem: This relates to transition. My wife and I will hopefully retire in the next ten years. This will affect both our workforces on succession plans however, improve our family quality.
Erickson’s : Psychosocial Generativity vs. Stagnation . This stage is a sense of self accomplishment. Ten year plan is to maximize my 401 plan and PERS. Continue to provide support to my children and parents.
Exosystems: here are some settings or events that influence the child’s socialization even though the child has no direct role in them.  We call these ecological contexts the Exosystem.  The Exosystem has an INDIRECT effect on the child, because the influence from the Exosystem usually impacts the child as it “trickles” down through other people in the child’s life.  New laws, government reform, environmental regulation, social unrest, financial upheaval, business and industry are a few examples of contexts that can dramatically effect a child’s life and experiences even though the child may know nothing about them.  Remember, even though the effect of the Exosystem is INDIRECT it can still be quite profound.  Like the Micro and Meso systems, the Exosystem effect on a child can be short term…like a temporary change in work hours for a parent, or long term, …like growing up during the depression.
Chronosystem includes major life transitions, environmental events and historical events that occur during development. The specific incidents tend to change or transition how the child interacts with all the rest. Moving to another city is one example, as is the first moon landing being televised.
Ericksons: We give back to society through raising our children, being productive at work, and becoming involved in community activities and organizations.
By failing to achieve these objectives, we become stagnant and feel unproductive. Success in this stage will lead to the virtue of care.

Nearing the end of my ten year plan, I will be coaching various team sports that will enable me to engage with different ethnic groups.

The concept of relationship is very broad and complex. Personal relationships refer to close connections between people, formed by emotional bonds and interactions. These bonds often grow from and are strengthened by mutual experiences.
Ten-year communication skills require a high level of self-awareness. Understanding your personal style of communicating will go a long way toward helping you to create good and lasting impressions on others.
Career effectiveness: Many of us could benefit from tweaking at least a few of our skills, in order to become even more effective.
