The force of friction depends on two things, what are they?
The force pressing the surfaces together (normal force - FN) The type of surfaces in contact (coefficient of friction – μ)

What direction does friction always act?
Opposite the direction of motion or opposite the direction an object would tend to move.

Kinetic Friction Once the Force of Static Friction is overcome, the Force of Kinetic Friction is what offers resistance to a moving object! Motion FN F fk Fg
