7. STEPS IN LEARNING MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY
1)Use “Key Word” Association method.
e.g. DORSAL MEANS BACK . HOW TO REMEMBER THE MEANING :
The term dorsal is pronounced in a way similar to the word “DOOR”. When we leave a room we usually do so with our back to the door.

8. Learning steps of medical terminology
2) Learn the Word Roots well, because most Terms come form Greek or Latin.
ROOTS help determine what they are referring to.

9. LEARNING STEPS ALSO , UNDERSTAND PREFIXES AND SUFFIXES.
PREFIXES COME AT THE BEGINNING OF THE TERM , SUFFIXES COME AT THE END.
Each of them have a function.
