Type 1 Termination in an ORT With a Right Posteroseptal AP Shown are surface lead I, intracardiac bipolar electrograms recorded from the HRA, coronary sinus (CS), HBE, and RVA in ORT terminated during VOP. In this example, the tachycardia termination occurred after the atrium was reset (type 1 termination) with the third ventricular stimulus (S3). The TCLsum was measured with a digital caliper as a total of 3 atrial cycle lengths immediately before the atrial resetting, whereas the PCLsum was measured as 3 pacing intervals (the interval from the ventricular electrogram just before the initiation of pacing to the resetting stimulus [S3]). The TPP was simply calculated by subtracting the PCLsum from the TCLsum (1,110 ms−1,020 ms = 90 ms). The amount of tachycardia advancement at the first atrial reset was 20 ms. Predicted PPI – TCL was calculated as the TPP minus the tachycardia advancement (90 ms−20 ms = 70 ms). AP = accessory pathway; Stim = stimulus marker; other abbreviations as in Figure 1.
