2 Transition and Enhanced Transition
Through P7 liaise with the feeder primaries to collect information about potential learning needs (started last September) Pupils identified by primaries as benefiting from Enhanced Transition were included in additional visits to the school to meet staff, build relationships and allow us to ease their transition to Balerno CHS Staff from BCHS attended planning meetings

3 S1 first few weeks Observations – in class by SfL staff
Feedback requests from teachers – asked to flag up concerns or feed back about Enhanced Transition pupils Targeted in class support Planning for extracted group work (literacy and numeracy) S6 mentoring scheme

4 Planning meetings Invitations start to go out to parents whose children had learning plans at primary – these are held across the term leading up to the October holiday
