Issues: Behavioural problems and difficulties working with peers, on the verge of being expelled.
Intervention: Supported with alternative timetable outside school hours, tutored on a one-to-one basis in all subjects.
Impact: Caught up with coursework, higher levels of incentive, enthusiasm and effort regarding exams and post-16 options.
On target for: English C, Science C, Maths C.

3. Low levels of attainment: Predicted English C-, Science D, Maths E.
Issues: Little academic and cultural awareness, writing difficulties, lacking organisational skills, low confidence regarding academic ability.
Intervention: Supported with one-to-one English and Science sessions with a focus on clear and specific feedback on writing tasks, provided with an ordered revision folder .
Impact: A greater understanding and clarification of core subject requirements, developed writing abilities and improved confidence.
On target for: English C, Science C, Maths D.

4. Mid levels of attainment: Predicted English B, Science C-, Maths D.
Issues: Difficulties concentrating, lacked motivation and engagement in lessons, uncompleted homework.
Intervention: Supported with one-to-one English and Science sessions, homework club every Wednesday after school.
Impact: Completion of all work outside school hours, increased concentration and motivation levels in a one-to-one setting, greater confidence in academic ability.
On target for: English B, Science C, Maths C.

5. Mid levels of attainment: Predicted English C-, Science C-, Maths C.
Issues: Behavioural problems, easily distracted by peers, lack of concentration in lessons, organisational issues.
Intervention: Supported with one-to-one English and Science sessions, TA support with coursework, provided with an ordered revision folder of resources for core subjects and exam material.
Impact: All coursework for core subjects completed to a good standard, general behavioural levels have improved, a greater understanding of exam requirements and how to work autonomously.
