Diary Entry February 9th 1964
Today was our first time in the Ed Sullivan Show at Studio 50 in New York. The four of us had our Edwardian suits on and mop top haircuts. We played 5 songs in total. In the first set we played “All my loving”, “Till there was you” and “She loves you”. In the 2nd half of the show we played “I saw her standing there” and “I want to hold your hand”. Although we were nervous at first we rehearsed the songs and the show went very well. We later found out that there were 73 million people watching! Since it was a hit we were suggested to make more appearances on the show and we definitely will.
