What is satire? Satire is a work of art that shows human vice or folly in a way to make it ridiculous or laughable.

What is satire? It varies in mood, technique and target.

What is satire? Satire may be personal and directed at specific people or it can general, concerned with sections of society or with the human race as a whole.

What is satire? Satire can laugh us out of our folly and produce change. If bitter in tone, it can shame us out of our folly. It can make us uncomfortable and motivated to do better or be better.
