Figure 1 (A) Comparison of mRNA expression of progesterone receptors (PRs) A and B. Expression of PR-A in patients with endometriosis was statistically higher than that in patients with tubal infertility (P<.01); however, there was no statistical difference in PR-B gene expression (P=.87). The relative expression ratio of each gene in granulosa cells was calculated by comparison with GAPDH expression. (B) Comparison of mRNA expression of estrogen receptors (ERs) α and β. ER-α mRNA expression in the endometriosis group was higher than that in the tubal infertility group (P=.04); however, ER-β showed no statistical difference (P=.86). The relative expression ratio of each gene in granulosa cells was calculated by comparison with GAPDH expression. (C) Comparison of mRNA expression of PR-A and ER-α between the pregnant and nonpregnant group. PR-A mRNA expression showed no statistical difference (P=.1). However, ER-α was statistically higher in the pregnancy group compared with the nonpregnancy group (P=.01). The relative expression ratio of each gene in granulosa cells was calculated by comparison with GAPDH expression. Fertility and Sterility , DOI: ( /j.fertnstert ) Copyright © Terms and Conditions

Figure 2 (Top) Correlation of mRNA expression of estrogen receptors (ERs) and progesterone receptor (PR) A in tubal infertility. In the tubal infertility group, a positive correlation between PR-A and ER mRNA expression was identified (R = and 0.700, respectively). (Bottom) Correlation of mRNA expression of ERs and PR-B in tubal infertility. In the tubal infertility group, a positive correlation between PR-B and ER mRNA expression was identified (R = and 0.602, respectively). The relative expression ratio of each gene in granulosa cells was calculated by comparison with GAPDH expression. Fertility and Sterility , DOI: ( /j.fertnstert ) Copyright © Terms and Conditions
