Revision of cities-larger urban zones
City revision is completed. Will be updated once a complete population grid is available. End of 2014? High level of continuity is desirable. Larger urban zones: all have been revised except HU and ES. HU revision still this year. ES in 2014. Other NSIs who wish to use more recent data to revise LUZs?

Cities = densely populated or large urban areas If boundaries change, continuity is the preferred option for cities. If needed, population shares can be verified for merges using a table, for boundary shifts using GIS based on a material published by REGIO.
