What’s it all about? PGL is a wonderful opportunity for the children to relax and have fun after their hard work this year. The centre offers a range of outdoor activities including zip wire, climbing and water activities SATS are over – time to enjoy yourselves!

Activities The activities range from teambuilding, to canoeing and all encourage the children to develop a range of skills. See attached

Rooms and Groups The children will be in day groups of between 10-14
Each group will be led by a school based adult (who they will know) and a fully qualified PGL instructor. The children will be in rooms of 4 will also have at least one friend in their rooms with them. The rooms have an ensuites.

Rooms and Groups Adults will be in rooms at the end of each corridor
We will tell the children who they will be in a room and group with when we arrive.

The Daily Routine 7-7.30am Wake Up and shower!!
8am Breakfast – Cooked or selection of cereals/toast 9am – – Activity one 10.40 – – Activity Two 12.30 – Lunch 2.10 – 3.40 Activity Three 3.50 – 5.20 – Activity Four 6.00 – Dinner 7pm – Evening entertainment 9pm Rooms – 10pm – Lights out!

Food A wide range of food is available to accommodate all dietary requirements. We have yet to find a child who hasn’t eaten well over the weekend! There is also a tuck shop that sells chocolate, sweets and souvenirs – the children are able to visit. We monitor what the children buy to ensure that they are eating fairly healthily!

No phones Mobiles / Technology Children are not allowed mobile phones
Any contact necessary will be directed from staff Cameras are allowed –but not on phones No digital technology –PSPs etc

Equipment Advice Small snack allowed on the coach
Sweets –children can bring them but cannot eat them after lights off (please keep to a sensible amount) Ensure children can carry their own suitcase –they may need to carry them up stairs

Text service Please sign up and so we can create a group text service. That way we can send messages daily. Children will be leaving Liddington at 2pm on Friday and should be home by 3.30pm- dependent on traffic. The coach will pick them up on Friday morning at 9.15am. Questions?
