2 PRODUCT FEATURE Kernels of wild walnuts have specific characteristics related to their high genetic heterogeneity (no selection), to the natural conditions of their growth sites and to the collection and processing technologies used.

3 PRINCIPAL DIFFERENCE Wild walnuts are harvested in natural forests, where there were no agro technical measures are taken. The volume and quality of the product is completely dependent on climatic and whether conditions

4 PRINCIPAL DIFFERENCE Wild walnuts cannot meet the requirements of commercial standards due to the wide variety of shapes and colors. The color of kernels of wild walnut is darker than the cultivated one.

Production waste serves as an energy resource Wild forests have a positive effect on the ecology and climate of the region.

10 PROSPECTS The Increasing volume of trade in wild-growing products will stop deforestation for firewood, there will also be less damage from grazing. Standardization of wild-growing walnut and other nuts with the aim of commercialization
