10. Task 3: Perform a moving scene Group work images and headlines
Perform the scene 2 mins before the picture was taken.
Students can then choose to freeze frame at the point of the image.
-Then choose a selected passage of time after
(1 min after, 1 day, 1 year, etc.)
Perform this scene for 2 mins, freeze frame the ending.

17. Forum theatre
The strategy breaks through the barrier between performers and audience, putting them on an equal footing. It enables participants to try out courses of action which could be applicable to their everyday lives. Originally the technique was developed by Boal as a political tool for change (part of the Theatre of the Oppressed), but has been widely adapted for use in educational contexts.
Once the freeze frames are completed the remainder of the class can ask questions about the scenario – so be ready to respond!
