After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. Luke 2:46,47 Jesus was outstanding in wisdom and not intimidated. He stepped out of the status quo. He was humble and not arrogant.

What can we learn? As young as you are the Lord can endow you with wisdom and understanding to the astonishment of people. Give yourself unto humility and don’t be arrogant but do what the Lord requires of you. If we ever encounter such youth we must not be threatened. Lets rather encourage and guide them.

1 Timothy 4:12-16 Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them,[a] so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.
