7 ARGUMENT #1 – Blind Faith v/s Biblical Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. The empirical is what is based on verifiable observation or experience, that which can be seen and touched. Biblical Faith is where faith and reason come together as partners.

8 Faith and reason are friends and partners. They go together. They need each other and cannot flourish or even survive apart. Our faith should be a reasonable faith, and our reason should be a faithful reason… David Horner

9 ARGUMENT #1 – Blind Faith v/s Biblical Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. The empirical is what is based on verifiable observation or experience, that which can be seen and touched. Biblical Faith is where faith and reason come together as partners. How can faith and reason come together? It is when faith is biblical and reason is logical.

10 ARGUMENT #1 – Blind Faith v/s Biblical Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Assurance – In the Greek language, this is the word hypostasis. It can also be translated as Substance or Confidence.

11 ARGUMENT #1 – Blind Faith v/s Biblical Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hoped – In the Greek language, this is the word El-pizo.. It can also be translated as fixed or expected

12 ARGUMENT #1 – Blind Faith v/s Biblical Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Conviction – In the Greek language, this is the word Elenchos. It can also be translated as proof or evidence.

13 ARGUMENT #1 – Blind Faith v/s Biblical Faith
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. The empirical is what is based on verifiable observation or experience, that which can be seen and touched. Biblical Faith is where faith and reason come together as partners. How can faith and reason come together? It is when faith is biblical and reason is logical. Faith is the concrete of things that are fixed and the evidence of things not seen!

14 2 Corinthians 5:6-7 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight)

15 2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

16 ARGUMENT #2 – Knowing Truth v/s Showing Truth
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. A. Faith allows us to know and then show the truth! Two major factors for aiding your faith 1. The Holy Spirit 2. Argument and Evidence

17 ARGUMENT #2 – Knowing Truth v/s Showing Truth
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. The Holy Spirit will help you with the knowing and argument and evidence will help you with the showing. 1. THE KNOWING Galatians 4:6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"

18 John 14:16-17 "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; 17 that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you.

19 John 16:7-11 "But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 "And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; 10 and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; 11 and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

20 ARGUMENT #2 – Knowing Truth v/s Showing Truth
Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. The Holy Spirit will help you with the knowing and argument and evidence will help you with the showing. 2. THE SHOWING Acts 17:17-18 So he was reasoning in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Gentiles, and in the market place every day with those who happened to be present. 18 And also some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers were conversing with him. Some were saying, "What would this idle babbler wish to say?" Others, "He seems to be a proclaimer of strange deities,"--because he was preaching Jesus and the resurrection. Reason is not contrary to faith. Instead, reason compliments faith.

21 ARGUMENT #3 – Evidence v/s Circumstance
Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained the testimony that he was righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks. Creationists and Evolutionists have the same evidence but they arrive at different outcomes.

22 If the blind put their hand in God’s, they find their way more surely than those who see but have not faith or purpose. Helen Keller
