Attitude Summary Your attitude is the way you feel or the way you think of someone or something. Your behavior and the ways you respond or react to something is affected by your attitude. You can change your attitude, and having a positive attitude can take you a long way in the workplace and life. Having a positive attitude can help you getting along with others in and out of work and increase your motivation.

The Importance Of Having A Positive Attitude
A positive attitude is the guide to leading a positive life. Maintaining a positive attitude through the ups and down is important to every aspect of life such as, socializing, your work, health, and relationships. Avoid negative thinking and complaining Spend time with people who have a positive attitude Be thankful for your job Give yourself a chance to recharge Reward yourself for doing

Keeping Your Focus Keeping your focus is to pay most of your attention on the task you’re supposed to be working on. To get better at what you do you have to learn how to maintain your focus. Most of the people who stay focus are the ones who are more efficient workers. Also being focused helps you get the job done faster and and avoid stressful situations. Get rid of distractions Break up your work into blocks Make lists Stick to a routine Stay organized

Doing Your Best Doing your best is very important, but showing that your trying your best is also very important. If you show that your trying people wouldn’t mind helping you out. Always trying your best, helps you progress in getting better, or achieving your goal. “Practice makes perfect!” so practicing will also help you become the best at what you do. No matter what you decide to do in life, always try/do your best! Here are some examples in trying to do your best! Show initiative or responsibility in work situations. Always try to improve your knowledge and skills. Set reasonable goals and always try to meet them. Be persistent. Keep trying. Avoid taking shortcuts or “the easy way out.”

Responding to Guidance or Directions
Every job has a person who’s in charge of your performance at work. The person in charge of you at work is known as the Supervisor, Manager, or Boss. Guidance and direction will be given to you by your boss, and it is very important to learn how to respond to directions and guidance and also learn how to accept it. The way you respond to guidance depends on your attitude Follow procedures or steps you should take to do things Ask for help, directions and instructions Accept advice and constructive criticism Acknowledge or recognize experience and skill or knowledge Handle negative criticism politely

Controlling Your Emotions
Once you step foot into your workplace it’s very important to control your feelings. Its very hard to control your emotions especially if you’re feeling a bad vibe. Emotions can cause us to say and do bad things. You can lose your job over negative emotions. Stay calm Learn to make constructive suggestions Practice using good communication Think before you speak or act Write down your emotions

Being Flexible Being Flexible
Being flexible is very important. It helps you adapt to change, and be able to work on something new on short notice. Being flexible gives you the ability to handle many tasks all possibly at one time. Being flexible is a great ability! At times, it can be stressful, but at least you’re knocking things out when needed. Here are some examples! Be willing to do extra work. Accept that you might get thrown off your routine Learn to balance your own needs with those of others Work beyond your title Get back on track

Conclusion Conclusion: A positive attitude change through your thoughts and it can change your world, the single most effective way to improve your attitude and life of thinking is to: think positive pull through your negative thinking Follow your positive thoughts and actions
