6 EXPECTATIONS

7 POLICIES & PROCESURES Dress Code: The dress code will be enforced from day 1. This applies to girls and boys. No Lockers: Backpacks will be taken from class to class. Only 1 backpack per student. Cell Phones: Cell phones should be powered off and secured in backpack. See Cell Phone policy in the handbook. Handbook Test for Students

8 POLICIES & PROCEDURES Tardy Policy
3 min transition time between classes 2 unexcused tardies = Parent/Guardian Notification from Period Teacher 3 unexcused tardies = After-School Detention for the specific period 4 unexcused tardies = After-School Detention for the specific period 5 unexcused tardies = Half-day in-school suspension 6 unexcused tardies = 1 day in-school suspension 7+ unexcused tardies = Administrator and Parent Conference to determine the next course of action regarding a Behavior/Attendance Plan for the child Hall Passes Limit students in the halls

9 POLICIES & PROCESURES ZAP: before school (7:45-8:20) in the Library
Tuesday & Thursday ASD: after school (3:00-3:45) in the cafeteria

10 LUNCH Online Free and Reduced Applications
Must re-apply before September 24th Application is available online at Free Breakfast: available for all students (7th and 8th grade in cafeteria) (6th grade will have BIC) Lunch: $2.75 add money through cash, check, or

11 DROP OFF & PICK-UP PROCEDURES

13 STUDENT ARRIVAL Building will open at 7:30 am
Early arriving students must remain in the cafeteria or designated area until 7:55 am(7th/8th), 7:45 am (6th)

14 STUDENT ARRIVAL 6th Grade: Bus drop off or 6th grade car line
Upon arrival, all 6th grade students will go to their designated area (Auxillary Gym) until 7:45 Students will eat breakfast in the classroom from 7:45 - 8:00

15 STUDENT ARRIVAL 7th/8th Grade: Bus drop off or 7th/8th grade car line
Students eating breakfast report to the cafeteria. Students not eating breakfast report to the main gym.

16 STUDENT DISMISSAL School day ends at 3:00 p.m.
Building closes at 3:30 p.m.

17 STUDENT DISMISSAL Buses: load at 2:55 p.m. each day at the front of the building. Car Riders: released at 3:00 p.m. (Report to appropriate car rider location) No Traffic at the front of the building from 7:30 - 8:00 & 2:45 - 3:15 Rainy Day Car Line: 7th/8th will proceed to the front of the building. 6th grade will remain in the building No Walkers before or after school. Do not cross Hwy 31.
