On this homepage you can download testing calendars for this year. Hover over testing and select MAP

4 Scroll down the MAP page to see dates for testing and the tests students should take.
Additional MAP resources are further down the page. The two that are most likely to be needed are the MAP Growth Coordinator Checklist and the Proctor Quick Sheet. The Proctor Quick Sheet has been updated to include the new auto-pause feature in MAP.

5 New for 2019 Auto-Pause Tests will not be invalidated if students rush through 30% or more of the test. Tests will be paused automatically to allow for the proctor to attempt to intervene with the student. The student will not be able to continue testing until the proctor resumes the test. The remaining slides are taken from NWEA’s Student_Engagement_Part_2 presentation.

Auto-Pause Most tests will pause when a student has rapid-guessed on multiple questions Both student & proctor are notified Pauses three times during a test session  Proctor can reengage and resume or suspend the test

7 New downloads & more screen is not final and subject to change Proctor console Before: Download the new test session tips PDF that includes a script to read to students During: View rapid- guessing information on the console throughout the test After: Download new test session summary details (PDF or data file) before ending the test session The PDF with the script to read is downloadable from the proctors test session view. The proctor can click on Download PDF and read the opening statement. Students who have been paused for rapid guessing can be resumed from the teacher’s computer or from entering the PIN on the students screen. The PIN should not be shared with students Downloading the test details is optional and may be helpful. As of yet we have not seen an example of this.
