Importance of positive customer relations Develops customer trust in product or service Allows company to seek and act on customer feedback to improve product or service Develops repeat business Establish long term success Techniques for building Use Common Courtesy Understand each customer has unique needs Listen to and engage your customers Set and achieve high service standards

How can customers find out what companies have good ratings?
Talk to friends and family Review the Better Business Bureau website Look at the American Consumer Satisfaction Index Look at customer ratings on trustworthy websites Look up ratings done by local governments (ie. Restaurant Grades)
