General Regulations The 2019 SAIMC Puzzle Challenge will be played by teams, each team will have 4 team members. It is divided into two divisions: Key Stage II and Key Stage III. It will be a team knockout tournament where in each round, two teams will play three different puzzles against each other. All 4 members are required to play one of the puzzles. No team member can play two different puzzles in the same round. At the start of each round, the team members have to decide by themselves which puzzle they will play, no changing of team members per puzzle during each round, but they can change team members to play a different puzzle in the succeeding rounds.

A player that wins two games or wins one game and draws another game, will get 1 point. If both games end in a draw or both players win one game each, extra games will be played until someone wins. On these extra games, a random device will be used to determine who goes first. A team that gets at least 2 points proceeds to play in the next round. In each division, prizes will be given to the top 3 teams: one Champion, one First Runner-Up and one Second Runner-Up.
